　　从前讨债是英国警察的职责之一，如果你到期不付应付的款项，债权人报警，债务人就可能被逮捕入狱。

　　隔墙之耳（偷听者）永远听不见被人夸。

　　[注] 这句谚语告诫人们不要过于好奇。
